Vikingfjord CocktailsTask Vikingfjord is one of the foremost Scandinavian vodkas’ that constantly looks for opportunities to grow the franchise of the brand.
The market for ‘ready to drink’ cocktails is a growing trend and the team at Vikingfjord saw this as an ideal opportunity to extend the brand.
The brief was to create a real point of difference for Vikingfjord Cocktails, looking to convey fresh and contemporary values whilst still retaining the inherent Vikingfjord values.
Solution Before starting design work, the US market for ‘ready to drink’ cocktails (which is significantly advanced in The States) was reviewed investigating new products as well as their designs.
The final design, using ‘bag in box’ technology for the physical is one that combines stunning simplicity with instant communication of the brand and the cocktail. The cocktails are instantly communicated with significant and obvious differentiation leaving plenty of opportunities for a large range of cocktails whilst still projecting the values of a strong Vikingfjord brand.
The box fits perfectly in the fridge offering the ideal way of enjoying the cocktail at the correct temperature.
