Task Arcus is one of Scandinavia’s largest spirits company based in Oslo Norway producing a number of local and international spirits brands. Vikingfjord is the flagship vodka of the Arcus portfolio. To appeal to a younger night club market, the company produced a 20% ABV flavoured product and used the Vikingfjord brand as the platform for the launch.
Solution Name origination was also a key part of the brief and as the usage is as a shot and the heartland of Vikingfjord is the purity of glacial water, ‘Ice’ and ‘Shot’ worked perfectly.
The relationship of Vikingfjord to Ice Shot was carefully considered as it was a key part of the brief that there needed to be an obvious brand link between Ice Shot and the core Vikingfjord vodka.
Clear labelling adds to the simplicity of the design and the tumbling blueberries add contemporary values and flavour communication.
