
Task Arcus is one of Scandinavia’s largest spirits company based in Oslo Norway producing a number of local and international spirits brands. Hammer Gin is one of the key brands in the portfolio and is a sophisticated and premium gin that is aimed to appeal to a more cosmopolitan consumer. The old design had significant stand out issues and the impact at both the key outlets of ‘duty free’ and ‘in bar’ was not being optimised.
Solution The colour of the brand was felt to be innovative and key and the colour was developed to make the brand have more stand out. Key to the brand review was the development of the branding to appear in a vertical format to offer stunning impact at point of sale. A subtle illustration of the juniper berries that add to the flavour notes of the gin add premium values and the story of Hammer Gin is told in a clever way via a story on the back of pack onto a clear label.
